2009 Slovak Intern
The 2009 summer Slovak Intern arrives June 29, 2009 and will spend time with us until early September before returning to Slovakia.
SZS Western Conference Meeting Held at DML
Clergy and lay delegates from Trinity Lutheran, Chicago, St. Peter and St. Paul in Blue Island, Illinois and Dr. Martin Luther in Muskegon, Michigan met May 20 for worship and discussion. Reports were also received from Sts. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in Riverside, Illinois and Nativity Lutheran in Windsor, Ontario.
The conference set the date of the next meeting to be October 15 at Blue Island, with Mission Exchange Sunday October 17. This year DML will swap with Trinity in Chicago. The recipients of this year's mission exchange offering will be our missionaries in Slovakia.
